This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for WriteLex, a subscription software product operated by Deepak Mehra (sole proprietor). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms below.
WriteLex offers a free Starter plan that requires no credit card. Because nothing is charged during the free trial, there is nothing to refund for trial usage. You can explore the product and judge its quality before deciding to pay for a plan.
Paid plans (Pro and Growth) are billed in advance on either a monthly or annual cycle, depending on the option you select at checkout. Monthly plans renew each month and annual plans renew each year, automatically, until you cancel.
Annual plans are offered at a discount in exchange for an upfront yearly commitment. The full annual amount is charged at the start of the billing year.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us at [email protected]. When you cancel:
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Because you can try WriteLex free before paying and can cancel at any time to stop future charges, we do not provide refunds for:
We encourage you to use the free plan first and to cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
We want you to be treated fairly. If you were charged in error, charged twice for the same period, or were unable to access the service due to a confirmed fault on our side, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case and issue a refund where appropriate. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your provider.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and will apply to charges made after that date.
